Night Out: Homemade Plant-Based Activated Charcoal Artisan Soap

This soap uses activated charcoal to give it it's color. Activated charcoal is knowing to help remove impurities, control excess oil, brightening skin, and reducing the appearance of pores. This is a plant-based soap, containing all natural ingredients. The scent is a VERY light cologne that adds just a hint of fragrance.

Fragrance: lemon, bergamot, cool mint, lavender, green accord, sandalwood, cedarwood, amber, and musk.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Hemp Seed Oil, Castor Oil, Fragrance Oil, Activated Charcoal & Kaolin Clay

I started making soaps because I was given some homemade soap as gift and the showering experience was noticeably different. Not only did I feel fresher longer, it was by using natural ingredients?! I was surprised to say the least! I had to learn how to make it and share it with others! 

I did learn and sold my soaps locally at a fundraising event for an animal rescue. A portion of the proceeds went to that charity and I continue to give a bit of each purchase to help support animal rescue; something that's a passion of mine.
