Growing up in Southern Utah, I remember picking pomegranates with my mother and grandmother. Making pomegranate jelly was something we did as a family every year. I wanted to make a soap that was in remembrance of that so Red Dirt Pomegranate came to be! It has fresh squeezed pomegranate juice in it, then ground up rind that acts as an exfoliator as well as a topper, and throw in some Southern Utah clay and you have a beautiful soap!
Fragrance Notes: grapefruit, lime, orange, cranberry, cinnamon, jasmine, leafy greens, raspberry, musk, and vanilla.
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Pomegranate Juice, Hemp Seed Oil, Castor Oil, Fragrance Oil, Southern Utah Clay, Pomegranate Rind, & Mica.
I learned how to make soap for a pet rescue fundraiser. A portion of the proceeds went to that charity and I continue to give a bit of each purchase to help support animal rescue; something that's a passion of mine.
